Along with the desire to enjoy a wedding day celebration that embodies love in many forms, couples now perceive wedding photography as an art form. Recently, I had the distinct honor of being featured in the LA Times. The article, featured here, spoke at length about what it means to work with your wedding photographer on magazine-worthy wedding photos.
Even more so than having the ability to create editorial wedding photos, the article also discussed the complexities of how to find a wedding photographer you can trust, while walking through the process of building a rapport with your photographer. This included the nuances of building a photography timeline and how to let your wedding photographer in on the details that make your love story unique.
As a former art historian, my purview as a wedding photographer can be seen in the seemingly impromptu moments. I was able to weigh in on the conversation with the LA Times. Sharing my perspective on building a timeline that allows space for editorial wedding photos to unfold organically.
